Move fast, experiment with ease, design with confidence

Arm and Oxford Science Enterprises (OSE) believe the next set of world-changing products and solutions will come from startups and their founders.  Yet, we all know designing a chip can be complex and challenging. Every startup must ride the tides of uncertainty while striving for that next win or wave of funding. So, we have put together a half-day conference to help silicon startups working in the quantum computing space to simplify the integration of their CPU needs, lower the risk of the overall solution, and cloud computing market trends and get the support they need to accelerate their time to silicon – and ultimately, thrive as a business.

This event will offer the opportunity to:

  •  Hear from Professor Steve Furber from the University of Manchester who has extensive microprocessor system design experience, including leading the design of the first Arm chips at Acorn in the 1980s. He will talk about those early days and his more recent work on SpiNNaker and the Human Brain Project
  • Discover the latest Arm technology for control in accelerators and tips for SoC integration
  • Learn more about Oxford Science Enterprises (OSE) – a key player in Oxford’s entrepreneurial ecosystem to found, fund and build transformational        businesses based on Oxford science – investing £0.5 billion in over 80 ambitious companies to date
  • Network with Arm partners and incubator support partners
  • Hear success stories and tips from other entrepreneurs
  • Q&A with all of our speakers
  • …And much more!

You will hear more about Arm Flexible Access for Startups, which  has supported over 100 startups to date. It offers no-cost, low-risk, easy access to Arm’s industry-proven technology so you can develop a prototype for £0. Startups also benefit from Arm’s technical support, extensive ecosystem and broad developer base. Come hear more!

This event is for you if:

  • You are a startup, or supporting startups, in the deep tech space

  • Want to understand more about the technology required in quantum computing and stay ahead of the curve

  • You want to know more about what technology and support Arm and Arm’s partners can offer startups

  • You want to make sure you can scope projects effectively, manage cash flow, tape out quickly and scale your business
